I just received mine today and spent 45 minutes swatching the 24 pack. I am pleased with selection and density. I am not so pleased with blending. In particular, trying to lay out the "Flesh Pink" and "Dark Gray" into different colors for depth/warmth/coolness. Colours that are "in-range" ultramarine blue to blue to light blue work fairly well, as does the green into yellow, but it seems that the pigments for the red into orange/yellow collide and fail to layer. Perhaps the "expert" variety of pencils do better, but as a whole, laying out a swatch of single color without a drastic transition seems to be the way to go.
Not as good as I was expecting, BUT, they are exceptional for the price. Perhaps the Arteza team can suggest methods for transitioning color that does not involve layering, as these pencils do not seem to perform very well when trying to apply colors to the neutral tones that are given.
Again, great price, good selection, bright, dense product -- probably a good buy for someone that is coloring line-art or coloring books.
