Lately, we’ve been getting a lot of questions from our followers.
We want to stay connected with you, so from May 1st through May 5th at 5 pm, Brenda Freeman, Arteza’s CEO, will be live-streaming with answers on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch.
In each 5-minute session, Brenda will be discussing and answering your questions about products, collaborations, our organization, staying inspired, and more!

To prime a canvas for watercolor you’ll want to use an absorbent ground. Gesso- specifically acrylic gesso like the primer we use- is meant for acrylics and oils, but not for watercolors which need to be absorbed into the painting surface.
I love Arteza products and have bought many of them already – the watercolor brush pens (twice, one for me and one for a friend), 3 sets of markers, watercolors, inkonic pens. I love them all and am looking forward to ordering the metallics. I have a question – I have some canvas panels made for watercolor. Do I need to put gesso on these panels before I paint with watercolor?

Hello. I have to give a public appreciation to David W. I was in either Facebook or Instagram last and left a comment on Arteza’s page. And Davis reaches out and out me on the list for when the pour paint , clay tools and clay kit cane back in stock. And he did.. I bought the paint and tools and I have to say I’m so IMPRESSED with Arteza s SUPERIOR Customer Service. And EVERY SINGKE encounter I’ve had has been EXCEPTIONAL. This is a example of how company’s should be. So please let Mr. David W know he is a wonderful employee. And because of your company’s superior service I am going to be loyal to you.
